I’m performing in The Second Woman at BAM October 19, 2019

Playbill cover for The Second Woman, Next Wave 2019 at BAM

Performer and all-around artists’s artist Alia Shawkat is doing something extraordinary, a 24-hour marathon performance for Next Wave 2019 called The Second Woman. She’s performing a scene inspired by John Cassavetes 1977 film Opening Night over and over. Each of the performers she does her scene with has a script, and an opportunity to improvise, but how the scene plays out changes depending on her. I got lucky enough to be chosen to perform in the early morning, and I’m excited for it!
